"Prashanth is currently Corporate VP and Lead Data Scientist at New York Life (NYL). His primary focus areas are Data Strategy and Analytics support for Actuarial and Product areas. Prashanth started his career as an Actuary and worked in Actuarial Consulting for 8 years building predictive models, insights and analytics using Insurance data and other 3rd party data (Credit, MVR, Pharmacy, Medical claims etc.) for Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life Insurance companies. Prior to joining NYL, Prashanth worked in similar roles at Verisk/ISO and Transunion providing data driven solutions to solve business problems in the Insurance domain. Prashanth has a Masters in Statistics from University of Iowa and a Masters in Computational Engineering from Clemson University. "
