The complexity of our care delivery model drives the serious challenges we have in process improvement that have made us almost noncompetitive among healthcare systems around the world. Dramatic shifts in current paradigms will be necessary for clinical staff, regulators, payers, and even patients to change the way care is provided and data is the only tool that can drive the this process. AI has the potential to automate the processing of this data into predictions.
